RP Adam Ltd, (Arpal Group) is a leading manufacturer and supplier of cleaning and disinfection products.
The manufacturer wanted to transfer an existing classroom based training course into an eLearning module in the area of chemical safety that would to take RP Adam customer organisations through the necessary steps to understand the key areas of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
Content treatment was key to our approach. We provided RP Adam with a series of targeted content workshops to review the existing training materials and apply our instructional design approaches and proven eLearning methodology to develop a bespoke COSHH eLearning module.
To engage participants, we included a range of interaction types and ensured that the training module was intuitive to assist learners with English as a second language.
To create additional efficiencies, we also created a re-usable RP Adman branded template and complimented this with bespoke authoring tool and instructional design training so that the organisation could use this to create additional online training materials.
This new eLearning course is far more flexible than trying to organise group training sessions, is far more informative and with its use of excellent imagery and a professional voice-over, it also provides an interactive element for users to gauge knowledge retention. Lee-Anne Gille, UK Operations Director at RP Adam
Since its launch, almost 10,000 customer trainees have complete the course, releasing the organisation some 8,000 RP Adam man-hours which have been redeployed to other customer service activities.
